Users of version 5.4.0.305 (english build 305) should download and instal again the version 5.4.0 (currently english build 317) to avoid a bug in the mechanism un-do/re-do of dBase.
The 317 build also correct a bug in the english version; when creating an account entry, pressing [Alt]+[E] or [Alt]+[C] now automatically settle the annotation (Close/End it) as documented.
It is available the version 5.4.0, which includes various improvements in dBase.
* Has been added a context menu to the un-do/re-do buttons of dBase, so that in addition to revisiting the last positions and un-do the way, it is now possible to jump directly to any of the 20 previous positions without having to visit the intermediate steps.
* It has added the option of counting characters/words in the Note/Memo fields of dBase.
* It has added the option of setting initial and final dates for calculations of account balance, so that it is now possible to know the value in a specified interval. Likewise, the accounts listings also allow define the beginning/end of account entries that will be included in the list. Thus it is possible to obtain the list of movements of a given period.
* It has been improved text search/replace in the Memo/Note fields, so that now function properly. In previous versions there not work properly the options “Match case”, “Match whole word” and “Search backward”.
* The windows to enter dates retain the last value selected, making it easier to introduce new dates if they are the same as the last one.
* The windows to search text retain the last search string used, which facilitates subsequent searches.
The version 5.3.5 is available to download, with various improvements in the dBase:
* By default, the contents of the Log appear sorted by date (in previous versions the content appears on the order of creation and to sort by dates you must click on the appropriate section of the title bar).
* In general listings that includes Logger data, the latter are printed ordered by date.
* Fixed a bug on the windows of results of searches on Logs and eDir fields where clicking in the title bar, the corresponding columns does not appear correctly ordered according to its content.
* The user interface has been improved, thereby eliminating the buttons to widening/narrowing the main windows of dBase (upper row). It is now possible to widen and strengthen these windows individually dragging their vertical edges with the mouse. At the same time, it is possible to width/marrow jointly these windows by dragging the bottom and right edges of the root window (first left on the top row). This new option, along with redistributing the bottom by dragging the edges of the Log window, allows that all the main window of the dBase can be configured according to the user preferences.
By cliquing successively with the mouse on the auxiliary windows of Links, it is possible to widen/narrow individually these windows. In the upper windows can be achieved the same effect by successively clicking in auxiliary window of the root, although in the latter case, the change affects all upper windows.
Está disponible la versión 5.3.5, con diversas mejoras en la dBase:
* Por defecto, el contenido de la bitácora aparece ordenada por fechas (en las versiones anteriores el contenido aparece por orden de creación y para ordenarlo por fechas es preciso pulsar con el ratón en la sección correspondiente de la barra de título).
* En los listados generales en los que se incluyen los datos de bitácora, estos últimos aparecen ordenados por fechas.
* Corregido un “bug” por el que las ventanas de resultados de búsquedas en bitácora y en campos eDir no se ordenaban correctamente según el contenido de las distintas columnas al pulsar con el ratón en la barra de títulos.
* Se ha mejorado la interfaz, eliminándose los botones de ensanchar/estrechar las ventanas principales (superiores) de la dBase. Ahora es posible ensanchar y estrechar individualmente estas ventanas arrastrando sus bordes verticales con el ratón. Al mismo tiempo, es posible dimensionar conjuntamente la anchura/altura de todas estas ventanas arrastrando los bordes inferior y derecho de la ventana raíz (primera de la izquierda en la fila superior). Esta nueva posibilidad, junto con la de redistribuir la parte inferior arrastrando los bordes de la Bitácora, permite que la totalidad de la ventana principal de la dBase puede ser configurada de acuerdo con las preferencias del usuario.
Cliqueando sucesivamente con el ratón en las ventanas auxiliares de las ventanas de Enlaces, es posible ensanchar/estrechar individualmente estas ventanas. En las ventanas superiores puede conseguirse el mismo efecto cliqueando sucesivamente con el ratón en la ventana auxiliar de la ventana raíz, aunque en este último caso, el cambio afecta a todas las ventanas superiores.
It is available for download the version 5.3.4, which incorporates some improvements in the user interface of the dBase, and in the printer options. It is now possible to reallocate the space occupied in the main window by dBase fields Log, Note/Memo and the lower windows of Links, according to the user preferences.

Está disponible para su descarga la versión 5.3.4, que incorpora algunas mejoras en la interfaz de usuario de la dBase y en las opciones de listado. Ahora es posible redistribuir el espacio ocupado en la ventana principal de dBase por los campos de Bitácora, Nota/Memo y ventanas inferiores de Enlaces, según las preferencias del usuario.
Nota: para un correcto funcionamiento es conveniente comprobar el estado de la opción “Mostrar el contenido de la ventana mientras se arrastra” del escritorio de Windows según las instrucciones contenidas en la la página http://www.zator.com/mSp/H5.htm del manual (dicha opción debe estar desactivada).

It is available for download the OrganiZATOR version 5.3.3, which corrects the known errors in previous versions. It also includes some improvements in the user interface of the dBase and in the listing options. It is now possible to include the contents of the eDir fields in the listings.
The new version also correct some minor bugs and inconsistencies found in earlier versions. Errors and omissions excepted we believe that this version is fairly stable.
Está disponible para su descarga la versión 5.3.3 de OrganiZATOR, que corrige los errores conocidos en las versiones anteriores. Incluye así mismo ciertas mejoras en la interfaz de usuario de la dBase y en las opciones de listado. Ahora es posible incluir el contenido de los campos eDir en los listados.
La nueva versión elimina también algunos errores e inconsistencias menores encontrados en versiones anteriores. Salvo error u omisión creemos que es una versión bastante estable.
Once investigated the error, we can make clear that it occurs when modifying a Extended field (except the eDir) of an item of dBase that has no content in their field “Note”, and in which the Logbook are equally empty. If you want to change a extended field in an item in the given these circumstances, it is possible to avoid the error by placing previously any content on the “Note” (can be a space character).
The indication “Empty” in the Note field *and* the absence of lines in the Log should be taken as signs that the error will occur when trying to change it’s extended fields!!
Una vez investigado el error, podemos aclarar que este se produce al modificar un campo extendido (exceptuando el eDir) de un ítem de la dBase que no tenga ningún contenido en su campo “Nota” y en el que su bitácora esté igualmente vacía. Si deseamos modificar un campo extendido en un ítem en el que se den estas circunstancia, es posible evitar el error colocando previamente cualquier contenido en el campo “Nota” (puede ser un carácter espacio).
!!La indicación “Vacío” en el campo Nota junto con la ausencia de líneas en la Bitácora deben ser tomadas como signos de que se producirá un error al intentar modificar los campos extendidos!!
